The Tiger baseball team began their season Friday at Linn County. Brashear scored 3 in the 1st and 2 in the 2nd only to have Linn County take a 7-5 lead after 2. The Tiger bats came alive for 8 runs in the 3rd and Brashear went on to claim an 18-12 win. Cole Erwin had a triple and a double for Brashear with John Higgins, Jake Holcomb, and Jack Reeves also having hits. A trio of pitchers, Drew Magruder, John Higgins, and Jack Reeves each struck out 4.
